Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the children, governors and staff I am delighted to welcome you to St Luke’ CE First School. As a Church of England school, we have a strong Christian ethos and links with the church, where our values of hope, forgiveness, trust, justice, humility and resilience are celebrated and rooted in all that we do.

At St Luke’s our children are supported by a skilled and committed team of staff. Our school forms an important part of the local community and we pride ourselves on building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with our families in order to ensure our children feel happy, safe and ready to learn. We recognise and value the important role that parents and carers have in their child’s education and our aim is to work in partnership to provide a high quality education for all our pupils. Central to life at St Luke’s is our a creative, engaging and child centred curriculum, with the belief that all children have unlimited potential if they are motivated by and engaged in the opportunities provided.

We hope that our website will provide you with useful information and give you a window into life at St Luke’s and what we can offer. If you would like any further information or would like to arrange a visit to come and see our wonderful school, please contact our school administrator.

We are proud to share some comments we have received from our parents this year:
