At St Luke’s our chosen Modern Foreign Language from the National Curriculum is French.
Why we teach French at St Luke’s:
We want our children to see French as more than just a subject taught in school. We want children to understand the value of communication through another language.
Through another language, we want our children to value, with equality, different cultures and diversity.
We want our children to be able to communicate effectively and confidently through a common language. .
