Week Beginning the 20th April 2020.
One English and one Maths activity to do each day!
Monday
Print off the cards below (or write your own) with different repeated addition and multiplication number sentences.
Find out what arrays are following the web link.
Then choose an activity to make them.
Week Beginning 11th May 2020
We have had feedback that worksheets are a challenge without access to printers. Luckily for us, lots of website have been busy creating great online lessons!
Every day choose one English and one Maths activity. If you wish to do something else as well, such as History and Geography, you are more than welcome to!
Starting from this week, 11th May 2020, you can choose whether to work from the Oak National Academy, or BBC - once you have picked one, stick to it for the WHOLE week... otherwise the learning might not make sense!
I will upload daily a paper version of Oak National Academy's lessons, starting from Week 4, 11th May 2020, for those who prefer to work this way.
Week Beginning the 25th May 2020
Under usual circumstances, this week would be half term.That means no formal work is being set! Instead, explore the fun activities you can do online,

OR revisit something you have not done yet,

Week Beginning 1st June 2020
One of the most important things to be doing while you are at home is READING EVERY DAY.
Here are some places to look online for books:

https://www.worldbookday.com/storytime-online/

Keep going with your online learning.
Week Beginning 8th June 2020
Starting from this week the work we put on the website will mirror the work the children are completing in class. If you wish to carry on with Oak National Academy, or BBC Bitesize, online instead - please feel free. It is about finding what works best for you and your child.
Thank you for being so understanding with the continuing change of approach to the online learning.
Week Beginning 15th June 2020
Week Beginning 29nd June 2020
Giraffes Class!
Dear parents, guardians, boys and girls!
For the indefinite future you will not be coming into school, but that does not mean there is not lots of fabulous learning that can be done at home.
Included in this pack;
Board games to practise maths skills.
Writing ideas.
Key words to spell.
Spelling and Maths shed log-in.
Letters to practise letter formation and pencil hold.
Other things you could do;
Bake or cook – can you weigh the ingredients?
Make potions out of things in the cupboard, or the bath – can you make the container, full, half full, empty?
Watch Joe Wicks work outs for kids, or Cosmic Yoga, or Peace Out, on YouTube to look after your physical and mental health.
Paint a picture – can you make your own colours using just the primary colours?
Play a board game – you can download dice apps on your phone if you do not own any!
Read lots!
Make your body and fingers strong for writing by;
Making playdough (It just uses 1 cup plain flour, ½ cup of warm water, ½ cup of vegetable oil and water until it is a good texture!)
Sewing.
Weaving.
Using your holding fingers to build things with Lego.
Making tunnels and crawling through them.
Try to keep some routine, a good sleep schedule, and news that you share age appropriate – and have fun!
Enjoy your time together,
Miss Rogerson
